October 15, 2002 issue published an eight year (1994-2001) Equi-Stat Pleasure Statistical ranking veteran trainer and showman Jon Barry as the number 2 western pleasure rider with $305,012. He has guided horses of all ages, colors and ones registered in a variety of breed associations to championship honors. Barry is pictured astride Impulsionspaintdme, owned by Yarnelle Farms, which he rode to win the 4-Year-Old Western Pleasure Maturity at the 1997 World Championship Paint Horse Show in Fort Worth, Texas.

March 15 issue - the Equi-Stat 2004 Cutting Statistical second Leading Non Pro 4 Year Old Horse is Dees Cats Meow. She was strong from start to finish for Scotty Rice in 2004. They scored a 221.5 to win the 4-year-old Non-Pro at the Abilene Spectacular, the first significant aged event of the year. Then, at the Fall Suncost Futurity, held in October at Las Vegas, they walked away with the Non-Pro Championship and $9,002.
